Heater help

I have a 1514 sf cape in Maine and it’s a 3/2. I installed new windows and foamed the 48” basement perimeter walls. I have a Burnham V-14T-RO/FO heater. Only baseboard heat is on the 1st floor and this heater also supplies the Hot Water. House was built in 1973 and has insulated walls and attic. Unit is 35 years old and it leaking now. Bob Robinson suggested replacing 10 years ago so I think it’s time. We are not here year round so trying to figure out which route to go.
Looking for any suggestions please.

How many feet of baseboard total? That would give you an idea of the size boiler to consider.
If the structure has been upgraded you may be able to run a lower supply temperature now, smaller boiler.

@michaelBrett , where is the leak? If it's the gasket around the hot water coil, that can be replaced………………

You're not going to find an oil fired boiler with anything near a 40K BTU net (which is more than the house needs), so the smallest 3 pass boiler, or a System 2000 if there's an EK dealer near you.
As far as domestic hot water, wire in a switch to the water heater aquastat so the boiler doesn't heat the tank when you're not there. Or you could go with a stand alone electric or Heat Pump water heater. As long as there's no jacuzzi and lots of people.
Vet the contractor.
