Vented LP Wall Heater Help

hello! I have an Empire LP wall heater that I cannot get the thermostat to open up the gas.

I used two different thermostats, even old one that still worked on unit. Thermostat wiring is all new and tested.

AAA battery on wires at thermostat will open up valve so gas valve is working…


please help!

    Does this have a thermopile? I don't see a thermocouple.

    If it an Empire yes it does… its a powerpile set up. Off to the right.
