TPI controller on Vaughn tank replacement probe

I recently replaced TPI control controller on a Vaughn tank with a ET01 made by. The problem is it didn’t come with the probe so I cut out the probe from the old controller and the new one and now it’s overshooting by up to 30° looking for the KW on what that probe is or even a different aquastat that I could put on there would prefer if anybody had the specs on the probes.
