drop-in replacement for Rinnai V2532FFUC-US

I have a V2532FFUC-US and a MCC (commercial) controller. I need 160F outlet temp used in

base-board heating. Current unit, ~12 yrs old, has some faults the tech cannot figure out.

Setpoint does not hold, reverts to 140 after 15-20 minutes. Is there drop-in replacement? (no piping changes).

why a boiler given that Rinnai publishes LOTS of stuff promoting Series I "solo" as built

for home heating via hot water??

i series is a Rinnai boiler. The solo Ex I 120s or a Ip120S is a heating boiler only an indirect would needed to be piped for DHW.

The I series combi, such as a i120cn or a ip090199c, well that does heating and also DHW in one unit,

Your tankless water heater, you mention above was designed for just heating domestic water, if you must you can use it for central heating but it needs to be piped open loop for warranty

It would seem that only 2 things could wrong with the current system, the controller or the board, I wonder if the board is not recognizing the mcc controller.

prob#1 (as I see it): water not hot enough. if set pt is 160, manual says 6 degrees of safety for itself, thus water comes out 154. Thus foundation & 20' tubing, water enters baseboard at ~148. Baseboards need ~160. Cannot get tankless any hotter…period.

answ#1: I thought…get an I-series solo which can output up to 180.

Prob#2: low flow rate. there is gunk in filter (part of connection to Rinnai). Svc person cleaned it once, I watched, now I clean it every 10 days or so. when clean flow ~3-4 GPM, when dirty as low as 1 GPM.

The svc persons who come out won't flush the system, but they did flush Rinnai only with vinegar.
