unmarked radiator identification

Options

Needing help identifying make and model of this radiator that's in the attic. It's 32" high, about 7" wide and on center thickness between the sections is 1.75". Trying to figure out the EDR of it. I'm trying to find it in Dan's EDR book.

That looks like a standard thin tube or "slenderized" radiator, which came into production around the second world war. It should be on most of the usual radiator sizing charts.

  • 3.7 sq ft/section. 66.6. Any writing or marks on the other side?

  • Unfortunately no markings on it whatsoever

  • I would guess it's an old Burnham slenderized that just has the primer coat from the factory and never got painted.

Radiator ratings were standardized by the time that one was made, so the "E.D.R." chart will be fine.
