Canadian source for Gorton #2

Hello to any Canadian steamers. Does anyone know how to get Gorton 2s in Canada? Haven't had any success finding a retailer who will ship across the border. I even called Gorton and was told there was nothing they could do.

Any leads?

Looks like Amazon.ca used to sell them but now says unavailable. Desertcart.ca price is ridiculous ($894ca).

Maybe someone here has an extra they could ship to you (i.e Supplyhouse price + shipping +10% inconvenience fee😄). Or if you live near the border drive across and pick one up. I was actually suprised to see that Supplyhouse did not ship to Canada.

Yeah, $900 is a little steep and I'm looking for about 6 of them. Oh well, perhaps I'll just put ball valves on the end of each main and pay some neighborhood kids to open them each time the boiler starts up. Maybe give them oven mitts, just in case.

What you need here a US Based "artist" who will create for you a sculpture that highlights the beauty of the Gorton #2 vent. This only works if the duty on a sculpture is lower than on some obscure retail HVAC equipment.

Think I could get someone to 'keister' a half dozen or so? Is there such a thing as a 'vent mule'? They'd need to be pretty…elastic.

Was about to start work on a steam powered UAV when I realized that State Supply will ship here if the order is less than $2500. I'm not sure how I ruled them out. Anyway, thanks for all the creative suggestions and here's hoping any political baloney blows over and we can all get back to being friendly neighbo(u)rs.
