Test kits

Hey All,

Probably a silly question, but I will ask it anyway.

I do a lot of propane and natural gas related work, new installs, testing, you get it. My issue is I want to buy a kit something I can have my manometer, spray, gas sniffer, gauges, hoses, etc all in one place. I realize I can buy a bag and shove it all in one spot. I was hoping some company out there built an all in one and would put together a kit that protects everything and keeps it all in one spot. Maybe it's a pipe dream but anyone got anything like that?

Dwyer has some kits. Maybe they customize them?

I buy tackle cases at Bass Pro or online, then get some Kaizen foam and cut out your own case. Then you can but different brands of testers. Here is a fitting case I built.

If I were still doing hydronic and solar work, I would get a Hanna test kit and case.

Veto builds some great cases and backpacks also

I think Harbor Freight (believe it or not) sell a bunch of foam lined containers (like a hard suitcase) of different sizes that you can cut the foam to make things fit.

It's their Voyager line. They actually look pretty good.

A company I worked for used Milwaukee packout cases with custom cut foam inserts for our toolkits. They used an online service to have the foam cut, which I believe is pretty expensive unless you make the CAD drawings yourself.

It's really nice having toolboxes where every tool has a place. You never lose a tool that way because the empty hole is glaringly obvious. The packout cases are great because they stack and lock together.
