Rinnai I series combi boiler thermostat

I need some info on a thermostat for my unit, a Rinnai I090CN. So far the only one I have been able to use is a cheap $15 mechanical stat. Rinnai sells a thermostat kit, 204000045 Wall Thermostat Installation Kit, but it says it's for their wall furnaces.

    sounds like you want to connect a Nest/Ecobee or some sort of smart tstat.. you are right the thermostat kit is for their direct vent wall heaters.
