I have a IBC boiler with a taco single zone controller. I had another zone roughed in and hooking up now. I have extra single zone taco controller can I wire it up to the boiler same was as the previous zone controller or do I need a 2 zone relay controller?

You can use the extra controller. You will just need to do a bit more wiring. not a big deal. The 2 zone set up would look at bit cleaner.

so just wire it same way as the original one?
not a problem having two thermostat wires going to the boiler terminals?0 -
Happens in effect w/ a single , 2,3, 4 or 6 zone relay. Its just a set of dry contacts.
