HBC and HBCX fan coil unit

in A-C, Heat Pumps & Refrigeration

HBC fan coils are readily available online with quick delivery, but I cannot find HBCX (=HBC with ECM motor) readily available. Can only get it from First Co with 2-3month delivery time, they say. Any suggestion where to get it sooner? Is there any reason I can get HBC unit and separately get replacement ECM motor (or motor+fan), and effectively make my own HBCX?

    Did you try connecting with your area rep or First Co directly? there may be some cross over numbers?
