hi, we just returned home from holidays and our burner won’t fire up. When I look inside I see the air intake on the burner is full of water. I’m guessing that’s not right ….
When it tries to fire up the water in the air intake goes down (sucked down) then when off it rises back up again.

Any advice on what to do? Thanks

What make and model boiler?

Unfortunately, it does sound like a leaking boiler. If it came down the flue pipe you would have sooty water on the floor. I don't imagine the burner takes in outside air.0
