Hello, My system uses the separator linked below. Wondering if anyone knows if there are insulation jackets available? I have not been able to find one for this model. Looking for similar to what Caleffi offers for their separators. Any chance a Caleffi would reasonably fit? Are there third party/generic options available? Last option...fabricate one and if so suggested method/materials? Thx!!

    Hi Bob,

Thanks for the pic!! Center to center is 8”. The separator’s ‘main cylinder’ is 3” OD, the supply/return collars are 1 3/4” OD, and the length is about 14”, excluding the collars for the air vent and drain.

You could get some 1" or 1 1/2" "duct wrap" fiberglass insulation and put a couple of layers on that. Get the stuff with the silver-colored jacket and a roll of the aluminum tape they use for it. If you can find a source for a small amount. It comes in rools 4' wide x 50 feet long and you don't want to buy a whole roll. A HVAC contractor or a sheet metal shop may sell you a scrap piece.
