A little on the low side for me. I'm sure there's a logic to it's placement. Probably not mixing down the hot outlet with cold if it's faced the wrong way. 7 gallons gets siphoned out before the snef hole comes into play.

    That's the exterior flue opening of a Rinnai tank-less on it's back. :)
