ECR International Recalls Gas-Fired Hot Water Residential Boilers Due to Carbon Monoxide Hazard

This recall involves gas-fired hot water residential boilers with brand names Dunkirk, Utica Boilers, Utica Heating, Pennco, Green Mountain and Columbia and with model numbers DXL-K, MGB-K, UH15B-K, 15B-K, GMGW-K, or MCB-K respectively. The boilers are blue and/or gray in color, 32-inches tall, 13- to 27-inches wide and 26-inches deep. The model and serial numbers are located on the boiler rating plate in the front left corner of the top panel.

Wow! That's a big deal! How could so many boilers be missing the plate? You can see a half a dozen due to a careless, lazy employee, but they should have never left the factory 🏭. Mad Dog 🐕

Part probably got dropped off a fabrication & assembly drawing during a design update. The error would flow right though productions and inspection because the units matched the drawing.

Are they talking about the roll-out shield, the flame viewing port cover or the cleanout plate in the flue collector?
