Hey Guys,

Does anyone know the differences between the Grundfos ALPHA2 15-55F and UPS15-58FC circulators are?  I appreciate any feedback.  Thanks!

slightly different pump curve, but the main difference is that the Alpha pump is a variable speed pump, selectable for 3 constant speed settings, 3 constant pressure settings, or you can use their "auto adapt" which works well in some applications and not so well in others. The UPS15-58 is a standard 3-speed pump. I like to use alpha pumps when I can, there are some applications to be wary of however, if your boiler doesn't have a magnetic separator there is a good chance the ECM alpha pump will become one greatly reducing its lifespan

The Alpha would be the choice if used on a zoned system . The other switched three speed gives you good choices on the single zone systems .

There was an error rendering this rich post.
