Taco series sweat mix valves

My 3 way sweat mixing valve is 3/4. I have noticed the outside of the housing to be close to 1” sweat fitting. Anyone sweat to the outside instead of the inside. I’m just trying to use what I have on hand.

Good chance the Cv is the same on the 3/4 and 1", just a different tailpiece.
Look at the spec sheet for that model valve.

Use a copper bell reducer if you can't replace the tailpiece.

Suppose you could if it would fit. Not sure that valve is made that way though

The ID of copier varies from K, L, or M
One of them may be close enough to get a good sweat joint

You're kidding me. Sweat to the inside and reduce it with a reducer coupling. Remove the control and make sure the valve is in the open position. I do one side at a time.

This is an academic exercise, right.
