As the title states I have a Weil Mclain SGO steam boiler with Carlin EZ gas burner. Im trying in to install a vision pro 8000 th8321 but cant quite figure out where to pull a c wire from. Has anyone ever wired a smart stat to this combo before? Any advice?

There is no C-wire hookup on this combination.
We generally mount a transformer-relay unit such as an R8239A:

on a 1900 box in a convenient spot.
Wire your red thermostat wire from R or RH on the thermostat to R on the transformer, green to C on both, white from W on the thermostat to G on the transformer. Run the normally open relay wires outside the box through a Romex connector or bushing, then run a thermostat cable from these to TT on the primary.
This will constantly power the thermostat as long as the power is on to the boiler.Baltimore, MD, USA

Same concept as Steamhead mentioned, this is probably an easier installation

@Robert O'Brien , how would you hook this up? The manual isn't too helpful............Robert O'Brien said:Same concept as Steamhead mentioned, this is probably an easier installation

So in the end I bought some 18/7 wire and just ran it all new. Installed a 24v 40av tranformer at the boiler and 4 wires later all seems to work fine. Left myself a few wires in case I run a remote sensor. Again ,thank you all who replied.
