    Most times I get stuck on a troubleshooting job it's because i assumed something when I shouldn't have. When things don't make sense it's time to go back to ground zero and look at everything with an unjaundiced eye.

    I would ask myself, What is undeniably true? And then I would ask, What are all the things that can cause that?

    There is definitely water hammer happening. 

    What can cause that?  

    That forced me to look beyond the steam. 
    Retired and loving it.
