Reusing copper pipe

I am cutting out about 60 feet of 3/4 and 1 inch pipe to move from one area of the boiler manifold to another. Should I just sand the ends and re-use it for the new location, or buy new pipe? It is 23 years old. Would be about $240 in new pipe.

        Most closed hydronic systems water becomes inert after repeated heatings. The tubing usually holds up better compared to domestic water supply piping. Chemical additives can affect boiler water quality.
          It sounds like you have skills so reuse the tubing & replace it when needed. I've cut into systems that I installed 45 years ago and the piping is fine.
          Cleaning tubing before & after soldering gives you the best chance for a long lasting joint - we like to ream the tubing before assembly as well.....

    I removed a 1960's HW system from a bank basement in 1995.

    That copper, larger than I needed BTY, is still heating my house.

    Even reused 1" and larger fittings and some valves.

    So it has longevity.
