    Lol as my grandmother used to say, "It takes all kinds". Seems there is an expert at almost everything and they can turn up in unusual places. Curious if Travis sat in sombody's basement waiting to record the water hammer?

    My mother in law's system produces a small "ping" in her bedroom radiator at the beginning of the cycle. When I told he I can fix that (IMO steam heat should be silent) she told me No. The little noise was a comforting reminder the system is working.

    Go figure. 😉
