Dirtmag did its job

I flushed the dirtmag without removing the magnet a couple days ago, was absolutely clear water, flushed it again today removing the magnet and got this:



This is probably overkill for my system since it is an ss modcon with copper, pex, and a little bit of iron piping and one runtal type emitter with the rest copper or brass.

    Nice job! Actually systems with small % of ferrous metals can see a greater breakdown and production of magnetite, called the relative area effect. It is a good idea to have mag protection on all new and old systems, as your blowdown proves.
