Condensate pump activation.

I have a steam system where am replacing the whole boiler.
The new boiler is a 24v gas system. Old boiler was a oil set up.
There is a condensate pump that is activated by the lwco.
Old system was 120V new one is 24V... can I use a Taco sr501 relay to activate the condensate pump?
Wiring is a bit different than just using a VXT feeder.
thanks.

No reason not to. Just make sure the relay you use is rated for the horsepower of the condensate pump motor preferably larger.

You technically making a boiler feed pump, condensate pumps work off a float switch, You might want to wire the contacts of your new relay and the condensate pump float switch (if you have one) in series using the float switch as a low water cutoff for the condensate pump. Don't want to run it dry

    SR501-4

TT on the relay to the NO contacts on the lwco to start the feeder

120 volt power to H & N on the relay

jumper from H on the relay to 3 on the relay

Neutral (same wire as N on the realy) to the condensate pump motor

Hot wire from 4 on the relay to the condensate pump motor
