I have a Van Wert coal furnace in my basement.  I replaced it with a gas furnace a few years ago.  It is large and heavy and needs to be taken apart to get it out. Is anyone interested in doing that? You can have it all....for scrap or parts etc. if you remove it

If you call the local scrap yards they might come and get it or point you to a local scrapper who will take it out. Just watch out for asbestos or liability issues. $.10/lb is all its worth

Depending what model it is and what kind of shape, the owner of A&B Van Wert may be interested in removing it.

Put it in a free advert on craigslist in PA and it wont be in your basement for very long.
