Viessman Vitocrossal 200 CM2 246 - Chip to increase capacity?!

in Gas Heating
I am being told there is "chip" that can be "swapped out" which will allow the boiler to increase capacity output. Is this accurate? I have never heard of such a thing and would love to know more if this is in fact an option for these boilers. Boilers Model: CM2 246
