Venting oil fired boiler through Roof

Hi,
I have and oil boiler currently vented through my chimney with no flue liner. The chimney is in rough shape and so I was considering getting rid of it to free up some space in my house. I have seen cases where boilers are vented through walls, but I have asbestos siding and do not want to get into that. I would like to vent the boiler through my roof. What should I use to make this happen if possible?

    Use a Class "A" manufactured chimney system, there are a few available. No horizontal pipes in areas where you can not access the pipe. Straight up is best but you can offset with 30° elbows to get around obstacles.

    Fireplace store can help you with the material in some cases.     Read thru the installation instructions and follow the clearance to combustible material measurements. Remember this is a FIRE inside your home and if not properly vented the FIRE can go somewhere where you don't want it to go.

    BTW. the correct material is not cheap, and Don't use a gas vent or B-vent. it is not approved for oil heat.

    Options
    Any venting system is going to take up space. Unless the chimney is falling apart, I'd line it with stainless-steel and make whatever repairs are needed to its structure. This should make it outlast all of us.

    I agree with @Steamhead on this one install a liner and maybe repoint the chimney a brick and mortar chimney is the correct way to do this a fabricated chimney (vent pipe) is the cheap way to build a building don’t go backwards
