Does anyone have or know where to find performance data on Herman Nelson/AAF unit ventilators?
I’m trying to determine the system heating output of a church with a number of these units.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

So far, this is all I've been able to find. But, it seems H-N was connected to Moline Heat.............

As to your original question- is this a steam or hot-water system? All Steamed Up, Inc.

You could contact (airdistributors.com at 800-866-1210) or (hvacplus.com at 800-431-3137) to see if they can provide the information needed.0

First step is to do a heat-loss calculation on the building. That's your "at rest" heat loss, with only the usual air changes. Then, if you can't find any info on these units, you'll need to use some sort of CFM-measuring device (anemometer?) to measure the air flow from the outside. Once this is known, it's relatively easy to figure how many BTUs you need to heat that amount of air at design temperature (for example, to 70°F when outside temperature is 0°F as we do in Baltimore). All Steamed Up, Inc.

You may not find the exact specs. Gaither the information coil size pipe connection size number of tubes and number of rows. Any coil MFg can give you the approx output.
Find the local American Air Filter rep their still around I am sure the can approximate the size for you.
Unit ventilators are still in use Trane and others make them0
