Can someone please help me understand how the Offset setting works with the outdoor temp vs the indoor temp & Thermostat setting.
And how can I find out the current Offset setting figure?
I have been having issues with the furnace coming on randomly even for the same outdoor temp and indoor room temp and thermostat settings. Sometimes the furnace kicks in for a very short duration and stops even when the room temp is way below the thermostat setting. Also, the heating temp displayed on the unit at times can be at 127F or all the way to 135F, when the furnace starts.
Having a very hard time understanding the logic & the algorithm behind the operation of this unit.
Someone had mentioned that these units have issues with the 3-way valve, not sure which one that is...it is not clearly identified in the Owner's Guide or the Installation Manual.
Any help or suggestion would be much appreciated.
