DIY Heat Exchanger Replacement

Good evening. Got a leaking Weil-McLain Ultra 105 R, Series 1. Well maintained unit, but a large hole in the heat exchanger. Question is, what advice do you have for a potential DIY project replacing it? Kit part is 383-500-774. Worth it? Too difficult? Better off replacing the circa 2005 boiler? For now JB Weld Steel Stick has patched the hole, and everything is working and not leaking, but I know I am on borrowed time. Thanks all!

It's a Series 1. Replace the boiler. What's next to fail and how much time and money are you willing to dump into it?
The Series 4 is a nice boiler IMO.
A replacement HX is definitely not a DIY project. Not saying you physically can't do it. You probably don't have the proper testing equipment.
