installing a new gas valve . need recommended gas pressure to burner. Crane 100 seris boiler

    Have Kettling noise while firing. Descaled boiler , still have it. Suggestions of what else causes it.?

    kettling is usually rust and scale and mud in the boiler. You can put boiler cleaner in and try boiling it out.

    Gas pressure is usually 3.5" of wc on the gas valve outlet going to the burners. Inlet pressure is a maximum of 12" wc, minimum should be about 5" wc.
