You could tap each section at the top, just under the decorative leaf, with 1/8" tapping......all this would be on the back side towards the wall.
Then install a Tee, a 1/4" compression X 1/4" compression with male 1/8" on the bull, all connected with soft copper, and just 1/4" x 1/8" MPT 90 on each end.
Then the properly placed air vent on each end would bleed all sections almost up to the top. The top might be solid cast iron anyway.
It is a lot of busy work but would get all of the CI heated up.
Just an idea. But on the back side may not be that noticeable and you could paint the copper.0 -
