Intermittent Pilot

Options
Hello to all
I have a small boiler that has a White Rogers 50D50-843 intermittent spark pilot. Sometimes the pilot will lite and continue to spark but the main burner does not get 24 volts. My question is, is this an issue with the module or is it possible that the module is not sensing that the pilot is lit and therefore not bringing on the main burner.
Thanks for your help, Michael.

It could be either. You can put a multimeter in series with the flame sensor and read the flame current. You can try to clean the flame sensor with a dollar bill or a scotch Brite pad and see if the flame current improves.

Some times the space between the sensor and the plot increases.
try moving the senor a little closer to the pilot flame.

Before doing that make sure the carbon crust is removed from the sensor.
