We are about to move into our new home. The house is forced air heat but an addition on the house, one room has electric heat. This room is open to the rest of the house. Any advice on how to balance the two systems?

Hi, May I ask, what are you trying to accomplish? If it’s to keep the temperatures about the same, perhaps running a small duct with a fan from the furnace heated main house into the addition will mix the air and keep temps closer to the same.
