Radiator Valves: Steam vs. Hot Water

I'm looking for 3/4" straight valve (preferably with sweat connections) for my hot-water radiators. It seems I can only find angled valves. Is there a reason for this? I did find a straight 3/4" steam valve with a sweat connection. Any reason I can't use a steam valve for a hot-water radiator system?

A common 3/4" sweat ball valve will do just fine when used for HW radiation.1
