Boiler pilot access panel

So I was cleaning the tubes to my hot water boiler Weil McClain and didn’t notice when I removed the panel how it sat. When I put it back on I notice it won’t slide all the way down into the key hole slots as the tubes get in the way(tubes are all the way down) . Now it touches the tubes ? Is that bad ? It’s almost like the screwed that are into the boiler were put in too low for the plate to sit about a quarter inch up up like my other boiler ?
