pro line push fittings

just wondering if anyone has used these before plimpton and hills in connecticut is now selling them. i got my butt kicked i capped off 6 old copper lines and could not remove them had to buy a 50 dollar tool to get them off off course plimpton and hills wants nothing to do with warranting them. there so tight they gouge the copper when removed. just another 250 dollar loss for me.

    @mikedo sorry to hear about your troubles. I didn't know they gouge copper.

    What I have done is use a adjustable wrench adjusted to match the O.D. of the pipe and push the wrench against the fitting. This usually will release the fitting. I also clean the pipe before I install the fitting to be sure that nothing will make the joint leak or jam up on the pipe.
