Age of Crane boiler?

Hi all,
I have an old boiler I’m soon going to replace. I do not see a model number label anywhere. The house was built in the 1930s. Any ideas as to the age and model of this boiler? Thanks!

    Probably original to the house.
    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

    Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab

    It could be a little newer than that, but you have gotten your moneys worth for sure.

    Could you show us the piping above the boiler and the return piping. Floor to ceiling is good to show.

    Your new boiler will need possibly better piping than the old one.
    Newer boilers hold less water and rely upon the piping above it to dry the steam. The old one may work fine with existing piping but attention needs to paid to for a new install.

    Many postings are here with problems for steamers are because of trying to use the old piping.

    Also sizing is often a problem, size is based on connected radiation.
    Not existing boiler which is often over sized.
