Need an alternative wireless sensor thermostat to the Honeywell for steam

We've been using the Honeywell 8000 series (and a few 6000) stats for several years successfully with 6 wireless sensor averaging in multi-unit steam heated buildings. However, it seems that the Honeywell thermostats are now going the way of the rest of their product line... we've had about 1/3 of the stats installed in this past year go bad and we may have a couple more we just found out about. Any suggestions for stats with 6 wireless sensor capabilities?

This may may be due to a wireless interference, rather than an electrical fault. Maybe there is a channel selector in its setup.
I wish they would make a wireless model communicating through the electric wiring, like the old Radio Shack “plug and talk intercoms.—NBC

I can assure you, Honeywell's redlink is far superior than a 1980s Rat Shack intercom...………..

The plug and talk, as you may remember used power line communication, so no signal loss in masonry buildings, although it may have had other problems, a system like that would be an alternative to any wireless device with a signal attenuation problem.
In this case, I can hardly believe all the thermostats and their Redlink died because of electrical problems.—NBC

We have had almost no problems with the 8000 or 6000 stats prior to about 6 months ago, just the recent ones. Some just lost time settings , another would not set up temps at programmed times and another would not hold steady temps. Some had wired sensors, no sensors, some wireless sensors.

There are 2 completely different series 8000 , green screen and blue screen. Green Screen 8000 were discontinued about 3 or 4 years ago but still exist for some reason , just like the 7212 economizer controller.

Many of those have a button battery, (2032?), as well as regular batteries, and maybe if that goes bad, even the 4 AAA batteries can’t hold the settings.
Static shocks might also be to blame.—NBC
