in Oil Heating
I currently heat my 5x7 bathroom with an electric heater. A 2 ft section of hydronic baseboard would do this at less expense . Would it be possible to accomplish this by thermosiphoning to negate the need for another circulator?

    I'm not sure about thermosiphoning, but you can certainly do it with a diverter tee or two

    Most any hot water system could have two tees installed 1 regular and 1 diverter tee (If the baseboard is above the supply main). It will heat with the rest of the house without an additional circulator. If the bathroom is below the supply main use two diverter tees. Same thing as @SuperTech mentioned

    I am trying to heat this as its own zone so it is always warm.

    If you pipe it using the diverter tee method it will heat up with the rest of the zone it's piped into.

    If you want to make it it's own zone then you would have to use a dedicated zone valve and thermostat, but that's a really bad idea for one section of baseboard. Stick with the diverter tee idea.
