I have a question about it: if you running pex-al-pex pipes and you kink your line, is it a bad idea to use a fitting to fix the problem?
When would you decide to just start over again?

You can usually carefully un-kink with a heat gun. Don't fully understand why you mention staple up in the title or the thread

A heat gun works on PAP?Steve Minnich0

I’ve modified the post. Pex Al Pex (which has aluminum in it) is not heat gun fixable.
I’ve read the complaints about noise due to pipe movement, so I chose to use Pex Al Pex. However — that stuff makes it harder to handle, it kinks easier.0 -
I would not hesitate to use the approved coupling for whatever brand you’re using.Steve Minnich0

If it's not buried, I wouldn't hesitate to use fittings0
