I have two questions: 1. I have sticking actuator values with a 1/2 in. nut on the value. I was told that PrPEX no longer makes this value. Any ideas for the fix? 2. What is the best method for flushing and cleaning a radiant heating system?

1) We will need a picture of the actuator.
2) Flushing and cleaning a radiant system is not recommended. The water inside your system is inert - no harmful oxygen - and will not corrode or clog. It looks brown and nasty, but leave it alone. Introducing fresh water on a regular basis will attack any ferrous components - expansion tank, pumps, cast iron boiler sections.......8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour
