Current Peerless WBV 3 with coil. Coil has corroded and no hot water thinking of changing to Gas.

Options
Thinking of discarding the coil in the peerless and installing a navien combi unit with just the on demand water heater and maybe one zone of heating. The peerless has 3 zones not counting the coil. Is this a good idea as all new gas lines and gas tank will have to be installed. The peerless is about 10 yrs old. We live in western Connecticut. Or can some one suggest a better set up which would be more economical in the long run. It's for a split colonial with 2500 sq ft and small basement. usually 4 people live there. Rarely long showers. One bathtub in the house 4 bedrooms and the usual set up. Any suggestion welcomed including manufacturers and models for gas as well as other suggestions for electric setup or an indirect heater. Thanks in advance

If you have natural gas by all means consider switching. If propane is your only option you probably are better off with the oil. More BTUs per gallon. I would ditch the tankless coil immediately and install an indirect tank, you will immediately save a lot on fuel consumption because you no longer would need a low limit on the boiler.
Thats a decent boiler, you can certainly do a lot worse.

Is the peerless boiler a cold start boiler? Wouldn't eliminating the low limit be a problem ?

Cheap way out is to replace the coil. It's a hot water boiler that's only 10 years old. But it's your $$$$$

Keep the Peerless. The WBV is one of the best pin HX boilers out there.
Install a gas conversion burner. Carlin EZ Gas and others will have burners that are OEM spec for your boiler.
Be rid of the coil and install an indirect water heater.
Did the Hydrostat 3250 Plus come with?
You mentioned gas tank so this is a conversion to LP?
    What burner is there now?
Why do you want to convert?
