Replacing a combustion chamber?

Hello my Peerlees WBV is showing signs of aging and has some broken pieces. I wanted to replace the chamber and original kits can be purchased for around $100. It appears that the back wall and bottom section just rest in place and that the door section is put on with the included water glass. Is there more to this installation than this regarding the kit itself? Thank you kindly in advance.

    Yes.
Brushing down and vacuuming the flue passages, smoke pipe and chimney base.
    Pull out the old refractory.
Scrape, brush and vacuum the chamber.
All with a soot vac. It will kill a wet/dry vac.
When done the boiler needs to run to cure the chamber.
Then the combustion and smoke tests.

What @HVACNUT said is the right way.

Depending on it's condition you could use a wet pack kit and patch the old one up.
