Looking For Old Coal Fired Boiler

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for an old coal fired steam boiler (it's ok if it's been converted to oil or natural gas), hopefully close to Bay City, MI (by close I mean hopefully within the state, but doesn't have to be). Would like to play around with different methods of firing, fuel types, etc as well as vacuum steam systems.

It won't be installed for actual use, so no worries there. Would prefer it to be functional (i.e. no holes in the heat exchanger). I can weld cast iron, which should hold long enough for experimentation, so even if it is rusted through I'd be interested. End goal is likely a decorative piece (or functional if it's got some life left) in the shop.

Disassembly, transport, and clean up will be on me of course.

Thank You,
Nick

Not sure if it’s what you are looking for but I just posted a 1982 Thermo-Control wood/coal boiler on this site.
