My Rinnai E50C installation experience

After lots of research online for the best options for my installation, I thought I'd post my experience. There seems to be fewer online posts and videos for Rinnai boilers compared to other brands, so I put together my installation notes and photos. This is not a recommendation, it's simply a list of the decisions I made and the components I used. The boiler is working great, condensing away most of the time. rinnaie50cinstallation.wordpress.com

Interesting, am currently working through the E50 manual and a couple of Rinnai training manuals working out the settings I will use when we return from Mexico in the spring.
The E50 is currently drained and lonely.0 -
I agree: The 17 minute de-aeration routine that happens every time you turn the boiler off and then on again is a pain, but there's a work-around:
Push the "Mode" button for 5 seconds.
"C" and a number will show, push the up button until the number 123 shows.
Push the snowflake button to store.
Push the reset button.8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

Good to know, thanks, I'll check it out.0
