    That actually came off the top of the water?
    Maybe you want to consider the wand washing for internal cleaning if possible.

    Yes, that was the first bucket from the top, it surprised me. After about an hour of emptying buckets I added a reducer and a garden hose adapter and cycled the boiler on and off as needed.

    After a few hours it looked good. I don’t have a wand but I guess I can build one if needed. I’ll run the boiler on Wednesday to see if there is any major surging.
