Calleffi hydronic separator

Really no piping difference regardless of what boiler type you pipe to a hydraulic separator. The sep doesn't know or care what you connect to it? The sep is just a large fitting, some have additional stuff inside to speed air and dirt removal.

Here is a cast boiler connected to one of the Caleffi HydroLinks. It's a LLH with additional ports for adding mix valves or assemblies. A 3 way valve provides return protection.

Idronics 15 has about 10 or more sep piping schematics and P/S piping concepts, they all accomplish the same thing.

Buy the sep as a component or build up a bunch of tees and build the same function.
