I'm in need of a few opinions on a new boiler and indirect water heater I'm looking to purchase. The boiler I'm looking at is the Biasi B10 with a Riello burner setup with the Beckett 7600A smart control and either a Vaughn top performer hydrastone indirect or the amtrol hydromax ener g net indirect. anyone have any experience with Biasi the good the bad same for the indirects. its 2 zone heating and 1 for domestic hot water 3 total, I have an old weil mclain right now with an aquabooster setup. any and all opinions are appreciated thank you

The Biasi and Vaughn seems like an excellent combination to me. - have heard plenty of good reviews on both.

The equipment is fine. make sure the boiler is sized right. The installer is the most important thing

Like @EBEBRATT-Ed said, make sure it's sized correctly. The Biasi B10 is a great boiler and I love Riello but an F3 or F5 doesnt seem to cooperate like the Beckett NX for that model IMO. I would use Riello on practically any other boiler.
The Amtrol is as reverse indirect?
If so, tank temp is set to boiler limit temp and a domestic thermostatic mixing valve will temper the DHW.
I've also seen this in numerous homes with the reverse indirect; no domestic relief valve, thinking the 30 psi vessel valve is domestic.
If you don't know it, don't touch it.

Thank you gentlemen I'll be doing the install myself I've installed a few gas boilers and know gas boilers but my new house has oil no gas around and was conflicted with what oil boiler and indirect to go with. Soon as the income tax comes it looks like it will be a Biasi and vaughn. Appreciate all the info

Unless you have combustion testing equipment and the know-how to use it, you'll need to have someone come in and set up the burner. Where are you located?
