furnace and water pump are not coordinated

The problem is a Weil-McLain furnace (EG) with a Taco SR501 1 zone switching relay. When the furnace responds to the thermostat and goes on, the water pump does not and the Taco relay does not turn red. Does the relay need replacement ?

Is that the only zone you have?

    Is the green light on?
If yes, try jumping RW in the 501.
If the green light is not on, there's no power to it.
Why is there a seperate switching relay for 1 zone?

    The green light is on.
    I will try jumping RW.
I do not know why it is built this way.

Is the circ. hot connected to terminal 4 N.O. on the 501? If you have a meter. Check 2 to 4 in the 501 with a heat demand. 115v.? Should be jumper between 1 and 3.
Can you post a pic of the 501 with cover off from 2 feet away?
