Hydronics Pex-al-Pex

I am going to connect Pex-al- Pex for 2 return return lines and two feed lines to make smaller zones. My fin tubing is 3/4 in, I have read that 5/8th Pex al Pex is sufficent. Is this true.

    1/2 " is probably sufficient to be quite honest
