I recently I stalled a new combi unit. I have hydronic coils for my heat. When I turn on any hot water the system gives priority to the hot water and cold air blows through the ducts until the hot water is turned off. Is this normal?

    a temperature control (aquastat) installed on the air handler could shut the fan down when it senses low water temperature in the pipe feeding the air handler.

    That would be 1 way to do it
